Industrial Fans and Blowers: New RadiCal Fans

15 11 2010

Industrial Fans Latest News: Ebm-papst, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high efficiency EC fans and motor products, has just launched a new RadiCal EC fan system that is 50 per cent quieter than previous models and uses 50 per cent less energy, too.

Quiet and efficient, RadiCal, Ebm-papst claim, is the fan of choice for outstanding performance in air/water heat pumps.

With environmental considerations at the forefront of all industries, protecting the environment and securing an efficient energy supply for industrial projects, does require innovative techniques.

Thanks to advances in air/water heat pump technology, the existing heat in the external air of a new modern building can be used for heating air and water, saving money and operating far more efficiently.

Designed for use in air/water heat pumps, the energy-efficient centrifugal and axial fans, complete with GreenTech EC technology, mean that air flows of up to 30,000 m³/h can be realised with the new RadiCal fan.

The new Ebm-papst RadiCal fans now feature outstanding noise reduction of up to 3 dB(A) and actually reduce noise levels by 50 percent. They consume half the energy of AC fan systems, too.

The Ebm-Papst website states that fans are currently available in sizes 133 to 250 with drive outputs between 35 and 170 W and in size 500 with three different EC motors. Drive outputs of 500 W, 1 kW and 3 kW are available.

Industrial blowers are mainly used to circulate the movement of air and gas in ventilation applications. Their main function is to replace impure or contaminated air with fresh air by swirling it around.
